So I have lost half of my cucumber crop to a predator that only seems to eat my cucumber seedling leaves. I was bumming until I came up with what seems like a brilliant idea. To top it off this idea uses some short lengths of hardware cloth I had left over from other projects.
These cages are simple to make with a pair of snips and some needle nose pliers. They are about 6″ in diameter and 4″ tall.
Hopefully, these prickly cages will keep out the pest eating the cukes!
