About

We started Sugaring in 2012 with 10 taps and buckets boiling the sap collected on our gas grill.  We boiled and boiled and eventually made enough syrup for us to use for one breakfast!  Now we have over 50 taps all on hobby scale vacuum lines & pumps, using a hobby sized reverse osmosis (RO) machine, and a small 2×3 wood fired evaporator to make our maple syrup.  We make 10+ gallons of some of the best small batch maple syrup each year.  Most of the syrup is sold to support the expenses of the business with the balance going to friends and family to enjoy over pancakes or waffles!

In addition to Sugaring we Garden, Camp, Fish, Hunt & Hike to enjoy the outdoors.  Many of our adventures are posted for others to read about on this blog.
